CHILD CARE INFANT-TODDLER TEACHER

Family Supportive Housing is seeking an experienced Infant-Toddler Teacher to work very closely with the Preschool Teacher/DayCare Director caring for 12 children (0-5 years). The Infant-Toddler Teacher will be working with three children from 4 to 24 months old. Our teacher must have a basic understanding of the developmental needs of this age group and enjoy participating in their day by day growth. The teacher will create and implement a weekly curriculum appropriate for the developmental needs of current infants and toddlers. Our daycare reflects the philosophy and goals of quality childcare and strictly adheres to licensing requirements. The Infant-Toddler Teacher works very closely with the Preschool Teacher/DayCare Director.

This job requires the following: very good oral and written communication skills, active team player, strong personal work ethic, openness to exploring new approaches, information, and skill sets, maintenance of HIPPA compliance, strong organizational skills, High school or G.E.D., a minimum of 12 units of Early Childhood Education, must be actively training to be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children and have previous experience working with this age group. Prefer BA/BS in early childhood education. Must obtain livescan and be TB tested.
